Stainless Steel 316H Sheet is a high-carbon version of SS 316, offering superior corrosion resistance and higher strength at extreme temperatures. It has a composition of iron, chromium, nickel, and carbon, along with small amounts of manganese and silicon. Adding molybdenum to the composition increases its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
Stainless Steel 316H Sheet is an austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and strength at elevated temperatures. It offers significantly higher creep, stress-to-rupture and tensile strength than standard 304 grades. It is suitable for high-temperature environments such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, pulp & paper, automotive exhaust systems etc. It also provides superior oxidation resistance compared to conventional stainless steel.
