Alloy Steel 4140 Sheet

Alloy steel 4140 sheet is a high-strength material consisting of chromium, molybdenum, and manganese as its primary alloying elements. It is mostly used in applications that require strength and superior toughness. This type of steel also offers excellent fatigue resistance and impact strength under low to moderate temperatures. Its composition includes carbon (0.38–0.43%), silicon (0.15–0.35%), manganese (0.75–1%), chromium (0.8–1%) and molybdenum (0.15– 0 .25%). It's perfect for use as gears, pins, shafts, bolts, axles & spindles due to its superior abrasion resistance and durability compared to other materials available on the market today!

Alloy Steel 4140 Sheet is a high-strength alloy steel used for a variety of applications. It is highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion, has excellent strength-to-weight ratio, and features good formability and machinability. Its low carbon content also makes it well suited for welding. Additionally, its chromium content provides hardenability—allowing the steel to be hardened without losing ductility or toughness—which makes it suitable for use in highly stressed parts where sustained impact and wear resistance are important factors.
