Copper Nickel Valves

Copper Nickel Valves are chemical, unlike any other type of valve. They comprise a combination of nickel and copper, usually around 66 per cent copper and 33 per cent nickel. The remaining one per cent includes other elements such as iron, molybdenum, manganese, and trace amounts of phosphorus and sulfur. These elements help to harden the alloy for increased strength and resistance to corrosion in saltwater or when exposed to high temperatures. Copper Nickel Valves are well-suited for use in various industrial applications due to their proven corrosion resistance and unique seawater-resistant properties.

Copper nickel valves are highly valued in industrial and marine settings due to their superior durability and excellent resistance to a variety of external elements such as corrosion, tidal surges, algae growth, and sediment deposition. Copper-nickel alloys possess superior strength, allowing them to be used in harsh environments that are typically unsuitable for other metal valves. In addition, copper-nickel provides increased durability when exposed to high levels of temperature fluctuations compared to traditional valve materials such as rubber or brass. This thermal conductivity makes them ideal for regulating water pressure prone to temperature changes. Furthermore, their superior anti-corrosion characteristics have made Copper Nickel valves the material of choice for treating drinking water, especially in coastal areas, since the alloy is resistant to most salts and freshwater sources without compromising performance.
