Stainless Steel 310 Round Pipes
Stainless Steel 310 grade Round Pipe is an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy with high chromium content. It contains up to 24% chromium, 20% nickel, 1.50% silicon, 0.45% manganese, 0.03% phosphorus, and 0.08% sulfur as the main alloying elements. Other minor trace elements may also be present depending on the fabrication method used for its production.
SS 310 Round Pipe is ideal for high corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and strength at elevated temperatures. Its high chromium content provides excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance, while its nickel-alloy addition increases its strength at high temperatures. It is highly resistant to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion. Furthermore, it has good ductility and formability properties making it relatively low maintenance and easy to use. Its uses include heat treatment equipment, process piping, acid production tanks, and other corrosive environments.
