Stainless Steel 321H Foil

Stainless steel 321H foil is made from an alloy of chromium, nickel and other elements. It combines its excellent corrosion resistance properties with good weldability, strength, and flexibility. This makes it suitable for aerospace, aircraft exhaust systems and petrochemical applications, which are subjected to high temperatures up to 900°C (1649°F). In addition, its mechanical properties remain unchanged at sub-zero temperatures.

Stainless Steel 321H Foil exhibits excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for chemical processing, automotive exhaust systems, power generation systems, cryogenic applications, and food processing. It has excellent strength, toughness, and workability that allows for cold working and forming operations. In addition to its superior heat resistance properties up to 1050°C (1922°F), the alloys can easily be welded using fusion or resistance welding methods. Its composition makes it attractive to industries needing high-temperature performance with good elasticity and weldability enhancement.
