347H

Stainless Steel 347H Unequal Tee Pipe Fittings are primarily iron and contain chromium, nickel, carbon, and a small amount of molybdenum. They are corrosion-resistant due to a skinny oxide layer formed when oxidized. This oxide layer provides excellent resistance to many types of chemicals and environments. Adding two per cent copper further enhances the corrosion resistance property in these stainless steels. High levels of chromium and nickel allow for superior physical strength and flexibility compared to standard grades. In the case of 347H grade steel, this alloy contains a higher content of chromium and carbon, improving their hot-forming characteristics while still allowing them to retain their strength through elevated temperatures or after repeating heating cycles.

SS 347H Unequal Tee Pipe Fittings are incredibly versatile and can be used in various applications, making them the perfect option for any piping project. These fittings offer superior corrosion resistance to oxidation or other chemical exposure so that they can be safely used in both acidic and alkaline environments. Their tensile strength and fatigue endurance make them ideal for high-pressure hydraulic systems, while their low thermal expansion makes them well-suited to higher temperatures. In addition, Stainless Steel 347H Unequal Tee Pipe Fittings offer excellent weldability and machinability, making complex assembly tasks more convenient. With all these features combined, it is no surprise why these fittings are so commonly chosen for various industries ranging from plumbing to oil refineries.
