Stainless Steel 430F Bars

Stainless Steel 430F is a ferritic stainless steel grade with good mechanical properties. It contains about 17-20% chromium and has good corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing atmospheres. Other elements found in the alloy include Carbon (0.12%-0.25%), Manganese (1%), Silicon (1%), Phosphorus(max 0.04%) and Sulfur(max 0.03%). Combining these elements gives it superior durability and strength to other stainless steel grades. It is ideal for numerous industrial applications such as valves, nuts, bolts, going springs and fasteners.
