Stainless steel 440C bars are a highly corrosion-resistant martensitic stainless steel grade containing at least 16% chromium, and up to 2% molybdenum. It has excellent hardness, wear resistance, and toughness properties which make it ideal for parts such as bearings and blades in applications where high heat is present. Additionally, stainless steel 440C offers better corrosion resistance compared to other 400 series stainless steels due to its higher levels of chromium content. For strength in extreme temperatures Stainless Steel 440C Bars can be used.
