Incoloy 800 Valves do not rust. This alloy is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy specifically designed to be highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation in the presence of sulphuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids. In addition, it also has excellent resistance to carburizing atmospheres that contain hydrogen sulfide – such as found in sour gas pipelines.
