DIN 2.4858

Incoloy DIN 2.4858 Bolts are an alloy of nickel, chromium, and iron, with added benefits due to small amounts of molybdenum and copper. This creates a highly rust-resistant product suitable for corrosive environments, while its properties make it useful in temperatures up to 982 °C (1800F). Much like traditional steel but with higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, this alloy is one of the most popular bolting applications, such as pressure vessels and turbine components often found in industries like petrochemical refineries and marine engineering.

DIN 2.4858 Incoloy Bolts have several uses and properties, making them an invaluable addition to many projects. They are highly resistant to oxidation even at high temperatures, making them the perfect choice for applications requiring excellent corrosion protection in elevated temperature settings. Furthermore, their mechanical strength and durability are excellent enough for use in heavy engineering components such as turbines, exhaust systems, and organic synthesis equipment. These bolting solutions also boast excellent fatigue resistance at temperature ranges from cryogenic conditions to about 1300 °F, which makes them suitable for modern industrial applications that require load transfer with repetitive motion. Additionally, these bolts will remain formable and free from brittle microstructures when exposed to extreme temperatures, extending the life of each bolt exceptionally well into the thousands of cycles range.
