Hastelloy B2 ERW Pipes

Hastelloy B2 ERW Pipes

Hastelloy B2 ERW Pipes are made of a unique alloy that excels in both corrosion and oxidation resistance thanks to its chemical composition. The Hastelloy B2 alloy is composed predominantly of Nickel, with smaller amounts of Molybdenum, Chromium, and Iron. Its distinct chemistry gives it greater strength at higher temperatures than similar alloys. This makes it popular in applications demanding extreme environments, such as nuclear reactors or petrochemical facilities. It can also be used for off-shore platforms and pulp processing machinery. Thanks to their chemical composition of Nickel, Molybdenum, Chromium, and Iron, Hastelloy B2 ERW Pipes are incredibly versatile and reliable for different harsh applications and industries.

B2 ERW Hastelloy pipes offer excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, good creep strength, and superior formability. This alloy is significant for high-temperature applications such as heaters, evaporators, and boilers where exceptional formability and chemical resistance are essential. Additionally, it is widely used in the petrochemical industry to transport oil and gas products and other storage tanks and piping services due to its good weldability and ease of fabrication. Additionally, along with excellent corrosion protection in demanding environments such as reducing sulfuric acids and hydrochloric acid media, Hastelloy B2 ERW pipes also offer exceptionally low levels of contamination, which makes them a superior choice for this usage.
