330

Stainless Steel 330 Stud Bolts are composed of 24% chromium, 17% nickel, and 5-7% manganese. Additionally, the alloy contains trace amounts of sulfur, carbon, and silicon. This combination of elements gives it outstanding resistance to oxidation and corrosion while giving it a high tensile strength and making it non-magnetic. It also has excellent resistance to acids and alkalis, making it ideal for use in harsh environments.

SS 330 Stud Bolts are frequently used in high-temperature and corrosive applications. These bolts possess excellent mechanical properties, including increased hardness, strength, and wear resistance, while providing outstanding resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Compared to other stainless steel alloys, Stainless Steel 330 Stud Bolts have higher creep rupture strength and thermal fatigue resistance. They also have good formability and weldability. Additionally, they’re non-magnetic and non-hardenable by heat treatment which makes them ideal for use in sensitive environments where the presence of a magnetic field could interfere with the function of the equipment.
